Dear Sandy,
I noticed from the sign posted at the end of North Stream Road,that you have sold your
house. Congratulations. We look forward to meeting our new neighbors.
As you are probably aware, we recently had a survey done of our property line and
became aware, as a result of the delineation,that the cabin you built a few years ago is
within the 10 foot setback required for such a building. We are anxious that any successor
in interest be aware that the building is non-conforming and that its placement on your
property but within the setback was not made with our consent. We would not approve
any additions or repairs to the cabin that fall within the required setback.
I am copying this letter to the City of Orono and your real estate agent,Ellen Phelps, in
the expectation that she will inform your buyers of this situation.

house.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Please find enclosed a copy of a letter we recently sent to our neighbor, Sandy Jaeger, at
her address, 591 North Stream Road in Orono. A recent property line survey between
our two properties, revealed that a cabin which Ms Jaeger built on her property is placed
within the 10 yard setback required for a building of that size. The building was located
without our consent. We are sending to the City of Orono, the copied letter for purposes
of memorializing both our non-consent and the non-conforming nature of the structure.
