SUBJECT: Seeking Approval to Provide for Fire and Smoke Detection
LOCATION: Divine Residence - 521 North Stream Rd. Orono - MN
Dear Mr, Davis,
Mr, and Mrs. Tim Divine have contracted us to provide for their security and fire
protection needs at their new home currently being bat. They would prefer not having
both our System Type and l 10volt Smoke Detectors_ The Regency Model 4720, which
they have purchased from us, is UL 985 Listed as a Combination Household Fire Control
Unit_ (Please see enclosed UL UTOU Listing#52363). Our intent is to install the
Regency Model 4720 along with it's listed components in accordance with NFPA 72,
Chapter 2 for Household Fire Warning Equipment_
The above system has been accepted and approved for installations in jurisdictions that
follow State Guidelines per Mr_ Fred Driver, State of Minnesota Building Codes
Division. We also have systems installed in Orono and approved by Bruce, the former
Orono Building Inspector_
You will find two calls from me on your voice mail. I understand that you are out of the
office today and will return tomorrow. I apologize for the urgency in this matter, but this
request for approval just came across my desk yesterday and I understand from our
salesman that they wish to start sheetrocking as soon as tomorrow.
Please review this request and irdbrrn me of your decision and/or any questions you may
t your earliest opportunity.
