Thanks for the phone call today. I'm happy to hear you are gearing up to start repairing John Roedel's slope. As we
discussed I looked into the file and see that there are a few outstanding issues to be resolved — none of which will keep
you from starting the repair work in accordance with your intended schedule.
1. John's signature on the CUP Resolution authorizing the repair. John should stop in to City offices when
convenient and sign the documents. (Draft version attached)
2. Completion of the attached application. The box for"Land Alteration, Major"should be checked and the $30
application fee submitted as soon as is convenient. We won't require an additional escrow and will hold the
current escrow though the duration of this project. The escrow will be held until inspection reports from a
qualified third party are submitted. See page 3 item #4 of the attached resolution for requirement.
3. Submittal of a letter from Verdyl regarding the acceptability of the use of their product for this type of repair
situation. See page 3 item #2 of the attached resolution.
4. Submitt�ra plantM� plan. The restoration plans as submitted and approved reflected a general planting plan.
Detailed plans are required to be submitted for review and approval by the City. Shown on page 3 item #3 of the
attached resolution.
According to our discussion your barge is on site but you intend to start on Tuesday with the base course of boulders.
