Dear Mr. Timm:
The Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation for Lake Minnetonka and its various bays including
Forest Lake has been established by City Ordinance at elevation 932.5, one foot above the 931.5'
100-year floodplain elevation. Based on the attached topographic map,the lowest floor level of the
subject residence structure is approximately 936-938', or at least 3 feet higher than the RFPE.
Therefore,the residence structure is within Flood Zone C. Only the portion of the lot at the shoreline
located below the elevation 931.5' is in Zone A. This is typical of many lakeshore lots on Lake
Minnetonka.
