Dear Mr. Oman:
Per our conversation, this letter is to confirm Scherer Brothers Lumber Company's and
Cardinal IG's resolution to the tempering issue at the above address. Cardinal IG will
send a technician to the jobsite today to verify if or if not the glass in question was
labeled with a tempered seal. If the technician finds the seal, they will notify you and the
builder immediately and mark the seal for your validation. If however, no seal is found,
Scherer Brothers Lumber Company will replace the unlabeled glass with new tempered
glass bearing the appropriate stamp. This process could take up to 10 days to turn and
coordinate the replacement process. If the glass cannot be replaced prior to the builder's
need for a Certificate of Occupancy, the builder will cover the glass in question with
plywood prior to requesting the CO.
Scherer Brothers Lumber Company will replace the unlabeled glass if necessary.
