I have also included photos looking at the trees along the property line separating the 2 lots. In the summer, there is no view between the houses. The pool elevation will be between elevation 960 and 961. It appears that the western adjacent house lower level is about elevation 965 or 966. Also the main body of water orients more to the west of both lots. Both lots are deep. Neither house is close to the minimum 75' setback from the lake. The western adjacent house chose to set it back and farther up the hill. Using the natural hill, the lakeside edge of the pool will be a waterfall edge. We can control or adjust the height of the retaining walls. Do you think there are any issues?
