RE: Waiving Sewer and Water Fees for Addition at 3845 North Shore Dr.
I met with City Engineer Tom Kellogg and City Administrator Ron Moorse to review
your letter dated 10-01-07 regarding costs incurred by you related to inaccurate as-built
drawings. After a brief discussion the consensus was that your engineering group
(Loucks and Associates) should have verified Orono's as-builts to ensure the final
engineering plans were accurate. I met with you on 10-12-07 to discuss Orono's
decision, as I stated "the first place to go for a remedy is to Loucks and Associates".
I also said "Please keep the City informed regarding this matter".
