RE: Curb Stop at 3768 North Shore Drive
Based on grading conducted in the street yard of the above address and the creation of a berm
the water curb stop is now situated too deep in the ground. The City's tools do not reach the
curb stop at the current depth. Therefore the City cannot turn the water on or off for this
property. To remedy this situation you should excavate down 7 feet and connect an extension
rod to the existing curb stop. This must be done before a Certificate of Occupancy will be
issued.
In order to assure all regulations are met and the work is satisfactory a Public Works Official
must be on site while this excavation and connection are taking place. Please contact me at
