We do <br /> not represent either side. The process is voluntary and any party may withdraw if they <br /> determine the mediation is no longer serving their needs. <br /> Mediation can be an effective method of resolving problems with others, particularly <br /> as an alternative to litigation. It allows people to work together to seek a mutually <br /> beneficial solution in a private and confidential setting. There is no judge or outside <br /> third person telling the parties what they have to do. Rather, the parties come up with <br /> their own solution as they determine appropriate for their specific circumstances. <br /> Mediators are community volunteers with various backgrounds, interests and <br /> occupations. All mediatars have received thirty hours of initial training and at least <br /> six additional hours of continuing education each year. <br /> Please call our office upon receipt of this letter (763) 561-0033.
