Golden Valley, MN 55427 Dear Mr. Baron: I am writing in regards to your property at 3619 North Shore Drive, tax parcel number 08-117-23-34-0010. This office has been anticipating the construction start of a new home on this parcel. A building permit was issued for a new home on December 7,2005 and is set to expire on June 7, 2006. If construction has not begun by that date you will need to reapply for the building permit. A new fee may apply to the new application. This office has also received complaints concerning the mess and depression left behind from the demolition of the existing structure(s). The remaining debris needs to be cleaned up and the foundation depression filled in with clean soil. If you are planning on starting construction within the next two weeks then the foundation would not need to be filled in. If that is your intention please contact me at 952-249-4626. I wrote to you approximately one month ago about the debris left behind from demolishing the house and that it needed to be cleaned up and the foundation hole filled with clean soil. It has now come to the attention of this office that a dock has been placed out into Lake Minnetonka. This is not allowed unless there is a principal structure on the property. If you would have started the new dwelling immediately after demolition then the dock could have possibly remained. The dock must be removed within 10 days. Once you have obtained a framing inspection for the new house you may re-place the dock. If your plans have changed and you are not starting construction soon, then the debris must be removed and the clean fill placed as previously mentioned. Please feel free to call if you have any questions. Sincerely, . Willie Gibbs Inspections Telephone(952)249-4600 • Fax(952)249-4616 www.ci.orono.mn.us
