This letter is to notify you that the City requires a building permit for the construction of a deck. Therefore, the City must require you to submit a building permit application along with building plans and survey showing the location of the deck A review will be done and if found to be in compliance with building and zoning codes,a permit can be issued. A deadline of November 27, 2000 has been established for submittals. If this deadline is not met, the City will initiate legal action. When a structure is removed the replacement structure is required to meet applicable � codes. Therefore the City must require you to submit a building plan,a certificate of survey and hard cover calculations to verify that the structure meets zoning and building requirements. A deadline of January 15, 2000 has been established for submittals. If this deadline is not met the City may initiate legal action.
