Re: 1991-1992 Commercial Marina/Dock License
Dear Mr. Mehner:
Your license application and fees for 1992 have been received, and the
City Council finds that your application meets the requirements for a
1992 Orono Commercial Marina/Dock License. The license and conditions
of approval are attached.
The City Council determined that licenses for 1990 and 1991 will be
issued retroactively for operations which applied for licenses. in
those years. You applied for a license in 1991, but not 1990, hence
your 1992 license is issued retroactive to January 1, 1991.
Please note that your Orono license allows for two transient
(refueling) slips, plus one slip in which only your company owned
boat, if any, could be stored overnight. Also be advised that the
blue barge owned by "D.J." may not be parked or stored at your gas
dock except during its refueling.

Docks extending beyond 200 feet and docks encroaching into required
side yard setbacks are hereby specifically declared to be illegal non-
conforming structures which are not permitted. under this lic A 1 1 such

IV. Marina is not authorized for FUEL SALES subject to compliance with the
State Fire Code.

VII. Nothing in this license shall confer upon any person for the benefit
of any property any vested right to use Lake . Minnetonka or the
premises in a manner permitted by this resolution, but the use of Lake
Minnetonka and the premises shall remain subject to such regulations
and ordinances as the City and other competent regulatory authorities
sha 1 1 deem necessary from time to time in the public interest.
Issuance of this license is not intended as a confirmation of
licensees conformity with all ordinances regulating the site
conditions and operation of the commercial use.
