Dear Ms. Schoeneman:
City Administrator Ron Moorse asked me to follow-up on your complaint about styrofoam from
Lakeside Marina's floating docks.
On Monday, March 28, 1994, I inspected the site with the manager, Doug Erickson. He
acknowledged that the styrofoam beads on your shoreline and extending to the Spragues'
property, as well as the styrofoam beads in his ramp area, are from Lakeside's floating docks.
He agreed to have an employee remove the offending clutter from the lakeshore.
He also indicated that Lakeside is proceeding to change over to flotation bins rather than
unprotected styrofoam, in response to LMCD and City ordinances requiring the phasing out of
unprotected styrofoam dock floats. b r 31y 1994rusesof unp otect dsty ofoam fordocks 9wi11
