Emai�: I am writing in response to your letter dated January 28, 2004. In your letter you expressed that
admin�minnehahacreek.org your have concerns regarding floodfng occurring at 3262 and 3268 North Shore Drive, Orono,
Hennepin County, Minnesota as a result of the construction of a single family home at 3280 and
Web Site; 3290 Northsho�e Drive, Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota, In order to meet Minnehaha Creek
www.minnehahacreek.org Watershed District(MCWD)rule requirements the applicant was required to obtain a Rule B,
erosion control permit.
On June 16, �999 �n erasion contrdl permit was issued for the construction vf a single Family home
at 3262 and 3268 North Shore Drive, Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota.This �equired the
applicant to implement the erosion controf plan as approved by the MCWQ Board of Managers on
December 22, 1998. The erosion control plan I'equired Mr. Robert Wade to install silt fence along
6oard of Manegers the lakeshore and the northern and southern property boundaries. Once the soils on the property
Pamela Blixt were properly stabilized wlth vegetation the MCWD permit requirements will have been met.
James Calkins The erosfon Control plan does require the submittal of a survey that shows contours sufficient to

submitted for the project is adequate. The erosion control plan shall conform to the provisions of

MonicaGross and Sediment Contro! Manual" (MCWQ Rules B).The MCWD permlt does not however approve
the grades associated with the submitted site survey.
