This on-site Sewage Treatment System is designed for a Type 1,five bedroom home in accordance with the
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Chapter 7080 and toca►ordinances.
The periodically saturated soils were located at t4"-26"{mottled soi!).Due to the periodically satw�ated
sotls,a pressurized mound system wili need to be installed to treat the septic effluent.The bottom of the
treatment area must be located at least 3'above the saturated soils.
The soils at a depth of t�"have a percolation rate averaging 9 MPI.
All tanks need to be insulated if there is less than two feet of cover over the top of the tanks.Ciean outs
must be instaUed on the end of the laterats for maintenance.
Use 7132 inch perforations on the laterals.
A �300 gaUon pumping chamber will need to be ins[al(ed to!ift che effluen[to the treatrr►ent area.The
power supply and Switches mvst be located outside the manhole and pumping chamber in a weatherproof
enclosure.A warning device must be installed�vith light ar�d sound devicts;this is in case of a pump
failure.The manifold and supply line must have back drainage to the pumping chamber.

The area around both sKes must be[enced oti bv the ntractor before anv construchon be¢ms.
With proper installation and maintenance,this system should have no problem in treating septic et�luent
effectively.Norhing other than gray water,{Iaundry,sfiowers,etc.)Human water and toilet tissue should be
disposed of into the septic tanks.Garbage disposais are not recommended.Additives must not be used chey
may cause harmful damage to your septie system.It is recommended that you pump the septic tanks every
two years.
