Please see the attached comments from our engineer on the as-survey. Also, because hardcover variances were granted
we also require that an as-built hardcover calculation worksheet be submitted to verify conformance with the
variance approvals.

Dear Melanie:
We have reviewed the as-built grading plan dated 12-22-10 for 3186 North Shore Drive. We
have the following comments:
• The as-built grading plan shows that the approved plan was not followed. The side
yard swales shown in the plan dated 4-9-09 must be constructed to manage runoff
within the property.
• After the swales are constructed, a new as-built plan should be submitted for review.
• The grading project to construct the swales would trigger the city's erosion and
sediment ordinance.
