Keep all demolition debris off adjoining property and/or the public rights-of way unless specific prior approval is obtained in writing for temporary use thereof. 7. Completely remove foundation(s)from the ground. 8. Completely dispose of all demolition debris off site in accordance with all applicable PCA requirements. 9. Abandon water wells in accordance with State Health Department regulations. 10. Call for an inspection when all debris has been removed, before backfilling. 11. Within 5 working days of superstructure removal, a final inspection shall be requested. The site shall be left clean and clear of all debris, with any excavation filled with earth level with the adjacent ground elevation (except when such excavation is to be used as part of a new building and such new building is actually under construction). 12. Abandon septic systems per Minnesota Rules Chapter 7080. All septic tanks must be pumped, crushed and filled with native soils. An inspection is required after the tanks are pumped and before the tanks are crushed and filled. 13. In our case,as it relates to the demolition,we plan to only tear down the structures—soil will not be moved or graded at this time. Given that neither of the two bullets points below will be exceeded, is it safe to presume we will not need a permit from the watershed for the demolition of these structures alone? We are aware that when we are ready to grade&build later,that permits will need to be acquired. Most likely the only permit you might need is an erosion control permit,which is our most common permit for demo's and rebuilds. In order to determine if you'll need an erosion control permit we will need to know how many square feet of land you'll be disturbing and how many cubic yards of earth material you will be grading, digging filling, storing,or moving.The thresholds are: • Square footage disturbance: 5000 square feet or more • Cubic yardage graded, dug,filled, stored,or moved: 50 Cubic yards or more. Most of the time when we issue erosion control permits we receive existing site plans and proposed site plans.We are happy to issue demo only permits, but keep in mind you will most likely have to apply for a separate permit before the new home can be built.
