1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File A129'�.
2. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore
Residential Zoninq District requiring a minimum of one acre per
residenrial unit. The property consiats of 3.65 acres in area.
3. On June 2�, 1988, the Orono Planning Commission reviered the
application as proFosed and recom�aended aperoval based on the
folloWing findings:
a) The caretakez unit. has existed on the property since the mid
�� 1930's and tne•guest cabin use since 1941 When the property �aas
V�. � acquired by applicant's parents. Both guest cab3n and
� � � caretaker's residence hsve served the existing residence since

b) In 1976, the City issued ae�arate sewer connection permits

the bazbecue atructure located withfn 75' of the channel, also
considered part of the main lakeshore, are non-conforming structurea,
qnd subject to all pertinent non-conforminq ordinances. The pertinent
aeetiona of these ordinances would sFecifically prohibit stzuctural
repair and the major replacement of these structures without Council
approval.
