During a recent final inspection of the project located at 340 North Arm B�e, it
has come to the attention of the District that wetland buffers on your property
have been impacted by installation of a gravel pathway through the wetland buffer
at the end of your property and mowing into the buffer. Buffers are established to
reduce the adverse effects of human activities on the wetland or surface water by
protecting water quality,providing wildlife habitat, reducing direct human
disturbance, and maintaining biological diversity. Per Minnehaha Creek
Watershed District Rule D: Wetland Protection, Paragraph 4:D
Buffer vegetation shall not be cultivated, cropped, pastured, mowed,
fertilized, subject to the placement of mulch or yard waste, or otherwise
disturbed, except for periodic cutting or burning that promotes the health
