I made a copy of a survey in the street file from August 28, 2007. From our phone conversation, I understand you are interested in a fence in the area noted in yellow on the enclosed survey. For a fence in the area noted in yellow, the following are the requirements: • Fence must be located with your property boundary. • From the property line (blue line) off of North Arm Drive (which is not the edge of the road, noted in green): o a 6' fence high would require a 35' set-back from the property line - o a fence no higher than 42"could be located up to and within the property line EXCEPTION: top of a three-rail, split rain fence may be up to 48" high • Fence should avoid creek/swale area • The"good" side of the fence must face road/adjacent properties As an additional option, I noted an area in your back yard. For a fence in the area noted in orange, the following are the requirements: • Fence must be located with your property boundary. • From the rear proqertv line (blue line): o a 6'fence high would require a 30' set-back from the property line o a fence no higher than 42" could be located up to and within the property line EXCEPTION: top of a three-rail, split rain fence may be up to 48" high • Fence should avoid creek/swale area • The"good" side of the fence must face road/adjacent properties I hope this information is helpful.
