Enclosed you will find the Preliminary Notice of Address Assignment letter that has been sent to
Hennepin County to request the lot combination you requested.
This process can take several weeks or a month to process. The County will send formal notice to
the City when this process has been completed, once received the City will send out an Official
Address Assignment Letter to you the homeowner. You may also check the Hennepin County
website periodically to verify your address has been changed. www.co.hennepin.mn.us Click on
"Property Information Search" on the right and search by address or PID (Property ID Number).
You may also call Hennepin County at any time to check on the status of your address change
