If there is a separate connection there is 1 additional SAC due.
If the garage is using the same connection as the house there is no SAC due UNLESS the garage
used as an apartment and a non-family member occupies, then 1 SAC would be due.

Yes as far as we know, it would be connected to the same sewer line as the home.
This has all been word of mouth going around. I am just trying to get the answers to tell the contractor or homeowner.

If the g"arage will not be used as a unit and will be on the same sewage line as the existing residence, we do
nat require additianal SAC to be paid.

Subject: RE:SAC Determination Question
I hae an unusual situation,we have a resident who is trying to connect to sewer in his detached garage.
At first we thought it was just a drain for sink, but we think he wants camplete bathroom in this garage.
My question, is would the person have to pay SAC to have sewer in an accessory building?
The home originally never paid SAC,they are grandfathered in because the Sewer Connection was made and home built
prior to 1973.
Please advise.
