In return for issuance of said Demolition Permit, the undersi�ned owner hereby agrees as
follows:
,�: The structure(s) shall be kept enclosed and/or secured until such tune as demolition is
complete.
,,-�2. Demolition debris will be kept off adjoinina properry and/or the public rights-of-way
unless specific prior approval is obtained in writing for temporary use thereof.
�: Foundations shall be completely removed from the ground.
�4. All demolition debris shall be completely disposed of off site in accordance with all
applicable PCA requirements.
5. Water wells must be abandoned in accordance with State Health Department re�ulations.
6. Inspection required when all debris has been removed, before backfillin�.

7. Within 5 worki.n� days of superstructure removal, a final inspection shall be requested.
The site shall be lef[ clean and clear of all debris, with any excavation filled with earth
level with the adjacent ground elevation (except when such excavation is to be used as
part of a new building and such new building is actually under construction).
8. The undersi;ned owner shall and hereby does indemnify and hold harmless the City of
� Orono, its aQents, employees and assigns from and a�ai.nst all claims, dama�es, losses
or expenses,Vincluding attorney fees, against the Ciry, its agents, employees and assi?ns
arisin� out of or resultin� from the demolition described herein as performed by the
properry owner, his employees, a;ents, subcontractors or assigns.

Dear Lyle:
While completing the permit application information for the demolition at 790 North Arm Drive,your
application stated the need for an inspection or approval letter from the Minnesota Pollution Control
Agency. On September 9, a call was placed to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to schedule the
necessary inspections. While talking with Charles Gierke, I was informed that because the building was a
residential structure being taken down and replaced with the owners new home that the demo(ition fell into
a non-regulated category of demolition and no inspections were needed. According to Charles Gierke of
the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the only action that I needed to perform was to inform you via
this letter of our conversation.
The information given to Char(es Gierke was compiled by the project superintendent, John Sonnek and
myself on August 25, 1997. The information requested was the year of construction of the home and the
type of heating plant it used.
While meeting with the owners we were informed that the home was constructed in the mid 1970's and
upon a visual inspection of the heating plant it was noted as a forced air system with non-insulated
ductwork.
