State law requires that Cities shali decide on zoning applications within 60 days from the date an
application is considered complete. Your application date was July 21, 1999 and was complete on
August 9. 1999. The 60 day review period may be extended by notification to the applicant.
The Planning Commission conditionally approved your application for variances at their August,
1999 meeting. The approval was conditioned on another secondary septic site being located on the
property. The proposed pool location would destroy the only secondary site on the property. The
City of Orono is extending your application an additiona160 days to allow you additional time to
complete and submit septic reports for Staff and City Council review. The new application
expiration date is December 7. 1999.
The eazliest potential date that the City Council could take action on this application is October 11,
1999.
