declareo to be a nuisance and upon seven days written notice to the

SUBD. 1. It is the duty of the owner of every vacant property and the owner and occupant of every
Qccupied property to maintain same in a neat, clean and presentable manner free of any junk, debris,
refizs�, litter, dead trees, or noxious weeds, and to remove all other public health or safety hazards
therefrom.
SUBD. 2. Grass and Weeds. The owner or occupant of every lot or pazcel shall regularly cut or
otherwise maintain all grass and weeds thereon at a height of not more than six (6) inches.
Please take action to comply with the above ordinance requirement(s) by May 11, 1998

On Aprii 22, 1998 this office notified you of conditions which exist on the indicated
property which constitute a violation of the Orono Zoning Ordinance(see attached copy of letter sent
previously).
Department staff reinspected the site on May 21, 1998 and noted no action had
taken place to rectify the violation(s). Please take action to comply with the above ordinance
requirement(s)by June 1, 1998 . A follow-up inspection will be made at that time
to verify compliance. If this matter has not been resolved at that time,a citation will be issued which
will require a court appearance.

Dear Mr. Pascuzzi:
On Apri122,and on May 21,this office notified you of zoning violations that exist on your properry
at 3320 Navarre Lane in Orono. As of this date these violations still exist. Therefore,you leave the
City no alternative but to initiate legal action. Action will be withheld until 9-22-98. If the
unlicensed inoperable vehicles aze still on the property and you have not mowed the grass, citations
will be issued and the matter referred to the City Attorney for legal action.

Re: Shed without Building Permit
Deaz Mr. Pascuzzi:
It has come to the attention of this department that you have recently constructed a shed on your
property at 3320 Navarre Lane in Orono. This letter is to notify you that the City requires building
permits for the construction of sheds. Therefore,the City must require you to remove the shed or
submit a building pernut application along with building plans and a survey showing the location
of the shed. A review will be done and if found to be in compliance with building and zoning codes,
a permit can be issued. A deadline of November 2, 1999 has been established for submittals. If this
deadline is not met,the City will initiate legal action. If you have any questions,please feel free to

Dear Mr. Pascuzzi:
This office has notified you of zoning and building violations on your property on several
occasions. This letter is to provide you one last opportunity to bring your property into
compliance. A deadline of August 30,2000 has been established for submittal of a building
permit application or removal of the shed, and to licence and make operable the van on the
property.
If this deadline is not met the City will issue a formal complaint regarding the shed and the van
will be towed from the property and disposed of. If you have any questions or concems,please

RE: Shed and Vehicles and Inoperable Vehicles
Dear Mr. Pascuzzi:
On October 23, 2000 the City of Orono granted you a variance for the placement of a shed on your
property. As of this date a building permit has not been issued and the shed has not been moved to
the approved location.
Also, the City has notified you of the ordinance that prohibits storage of unlicenced inoperable
vehicles on your property. This letter is to require you to move the shed and remove the vehicles
prior to May 28,2001. If this deadline is not met the City may initiate legal action on the shed and
tow and dispose of the vehicles.
