Flagstone patio to rear of garage. 2. Stone patio near accessory building. 3. Retaining wall and grading changes to rear of home. Based on the contours it does not appear that any of the new walls exceed 4 feet. That said.They do not appear to impact the overall drainage of the site. An inspector should perform a site visit to ensure the survey accurately depicts the site and that the site is fully vegetate such that the erosion control measures may be removed. Our landscaping contractor, Maple Crest Landscaping,completed the re-installation of the silt-fencing several weeks ago. We will not, however, be able to re-vegetate areas disturbed by construction until weather permits in the spring. As far as we are concerned, all other work relating to the permit noted above has been completed. Tivoli (Robi Jamesweathers) has asked that, if possible,we close out the existing permit with the City and assume responsibility for re-vegetation in the spring. This seems appropriate to me,given that the re-vegetation and other landscaping work will be performed under a separate contract with Maple Crest Landscaping and outside of our general contract with Tivoli. We understand that the City would continue to hold our deposit until re-vegetation is completed. All that said, I am not familiar with the City's procedures for closing out these kinds of permits—please let me know how we should proceed. Also, I would like to confirm that the deposit is held in our names(Steve and Anne Ryan),since we provided Tivoli with the funds used to make the deposit. Robi has told me he would sign whatever documentation the City needs to transfer the deposit, if a transfer is necessary. Please re- establish and maintain silt fencing until vegetation is established. We continue to hold an escrow of$2,500. Once vegetation is established, call to schedule a follow-up inspection. Please note, all expenditures including escrow refunds require council approval. Depending upon the timing of the next inspection it may take several weeks before the refund check is mailed.
