Re: Land alterations without city permits or approval
Dear Mr.VanCamp
Staff observed a new curb cut(driveway access)you created on your property to provide access from "
your back yard to Elm Street. This is the second time there has been land alteration work done on your
property without permits and approvals.
Orono city code section 18-36(a) allows on one curb cut(driveway access)to public roads.Therefore
the city has no alternative but to require you to remove the access and restore the property to the
original condition.
A deadline of November 17, 2014 has been established to bring your property into compliance. If this
dead line is not met the matter will be referred to the city attorney for legal action. Please feel free to
