Subject: Old Beach Road Access to 2665 Mapleridge Lane
Tim - We don't have a copy of the original plat for Shorehills in our files, but you might find one at
Gronberg's office or some other local surveyor; or you can get one from Hennepin County. It will
undoubtedly contain dedication language to the effect that the road "is dedicated to the public use
forever". Pm attaching the Hennepin County plat map and the plat map from the Hennepin County
web site, both of which show that Old Beach Road is a public road. Greg Gappa has confirmed for me
that from the City's perspective, you have the right to access from the Old Beach Road cul-de-sac, the
neighbors can't deny you that, but because the City does not maintain that cul-de-sac portion, you
should expect to pay a fair share toward the neighborhood's costs of maintenance.
