Dear Mr.Oman:
On Apri126,200�,I inspected the ponding area at 2655 Mapleridge Lane and found it to be in
conformance with the Stormwater Management Plans dated January 5,200�.
Variations from the plans include the following:
• The constructed pond does not contain wet detention. Wet detention was not criteria set
by the city and has no impact on rate control.
• The tile lines containing roof drainage were reduced from 6 inch to 4 inch as required,but
not outlet into the upper pond. The tile lines outlet into the crushed rock near the lower
dry pond. The roof drainage area is actually minimal with a ioo year flood of only o.5 cfs,
therefore,the asbuilt conditions are acceptable in regards to stormwater management.
However,the tile lines should be monitored for plugging as they begin to collect gutter
debris. If plugging becomes a problem,outletting the 6 inch tile lines into the upper dry
pond should resolve any issues.
Variations from the plans were allowed,provided necessary storage volumes were met. I believe
the dry detention ponds as constructed meet the criteria as set forth by the city.

Lyle,
At the contractor's request, I made another site visit to the 2665 Maple Ridge site to inspect the
pond. They have addressed my comments and satisfied the City rate control requirement. They
added a 4" draintile outlet to the upper cell, then bermed and riprapped over it to create the
designed overflow. They also exposed the new and existing outlet pipes and cleaned out the new
P�Pe•
They should be good-to-go from a drainage perspective.
