On December 27, 2012, the City received an electronic copy of an as-built survey for 1595 Maple Place. This
survey is not to scale; as-built surveys must be full-sized, and to scale. An as-built survey should only be
submitted after final grading and landscaping are complete.
In order to occupy the home before the final grading and landscaping are complete, a temporary certificate of
occupancy (TCO) can be issued, after all building code inspections are satisfactory. Please be aware, before
the City will issue a TCO a $10,000 escrow must be submitted and will be held until the as-built survey is
submitted and the final grading and landscaping can be completed/inspected/approved. The City currently
holds $2,500 in conjunction with the building permit. We will require an additional $7,500 (total of$10,000) to
be held until the exterior work is finalized and an as-built survey has been submitted and approved by the City
Engineer.
