Dear Mr. Bieker,
It has come to the attention of this department that there are severai dead trees on your property at
3484 Lyric in Orono.The City of Orono ordinance#58-1 requires property owners to keep their property
free of dead trees and to maintain grass and weeds at a maximum of 6" in height.
Therefore the city must require you to remove the dead trees and maintain the grass and weeds.A
deadline of July 18,2014 has been established. If this deadline is not met the city will cause the trees to
be removed and mow the grass and weeds.The cost will be charged against the property as a special
assessment. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at my office.

Re: 3484 Lyric dead trees
Helio,
The above issue has been rectified by a professional local company, Preferred
Tree Services. There were two larger trees and four Elm identified as either dead
or dying and they were all cleared. The grass has also been cut.
For the record, the dead trees were dead for the last five years that the
county/city owned the property, it is too bad the city code was not enforced then
but deferred to private citizens.
