It is my understanding that Mn/DOT has determined the property at 1180 Lyman Avenue to be
excess right-of-way, and the property is available for acquisition by the City of Orono at the
property's appraised market value. The City is interested in acquiring the property, subject to .
two conditions:
1. The property is determined to contain a viable, conforming site for a mound septic system,
and the site is protected for the duration of the Highway 12 project.
2. The price is acceptable to the City.
� Please let me know the timing for the completion of the appraisal,and the process and timing far
the acquisition. Thanks for your help.
