. Minutes of the meeting of �ec.11,1961 were approved as read.
On motion made by Scnmitt,seconded by �7ood,the i�unicipal Code
� of Orono,as prepared by the Village Attorney,and as submitted
in printed form to the Village Council,�vas adopted. The Village
Clerk was instructed to publish a notice to that effect in the
official newspapers of the Village,and to maintain at all times
in the Village Hall a sufficient quantity of copies of Munici-
pal Code of Orono for distribution to the public as requested.
Niotion carried unanimously.
P�Ioved by Turnham,seconded by Schmitt,that J.F.Kust plow desig-
nated areas on Shadywood Point on an hourly basis after approv-
al of each plowing by Forenan Stinson. I�otion carried.
- The question of responsibility for upkeep and plowing of the
old Henderson bridge road was discussed and tabled pending
further information as to the status of said road.
The problem of snow remaval in Navarre was discussed.The matter
was held over to the next meeting,January 8,1962 .
Don Hess ,Jr.was present requesting recommendations as to use
of the Carl Holmgren property in the event Mr. �iess purchases
it. The matter was referred to the Planning Commission.
� � Foreman Stinson reported on problems of snow plowing and re-
-_:; moval and the breakdown of equipment. He was asked to report,
'' ' � at the next meeting of the Council,what new equipment is
� � needed and the estimated cost of same.
Fire protection contracts with the i�Iound,Long Lake ,�ayzata and
Maple Plain fire departments were examined. Mayor noss will
contact Mound regarding definition of their area.
r Verified accounts and bills #1848 thru 1883 were reviewed and
approved.
There being no further business ,the meeting was adjourned.
