Bids on the new 1960 or 196oL half�ton truek were ordered r� opened;all bids to be in by 8:00 PM 5eptembar 12th. The matter of the sale of a portion o� the NorthWest corner�-�lot - in Crystal Bay owned by �rs Rac�hel Swanson was considered. The Council decided tha� it could approve a building permit on the remaining portion of the lot,165X149 Paet under the interpreta� tion of the existing ordinances�but that �hie decision is not .. to be construed as in any way limiting the action of any future . It wae recommended that gravel and rock be used to improve the villgge road leading to the property of Ho�rard 'JP. �teagher. There being some confusion concerning which of two conflicting plats of Lot 15,5hore F:ills,owned by Joseph Bra.ff, was the one approved by the Planning Commission, the matter was reterred to that body f or cl�rif ication. �dr. Orville Keiran,proprietor ot' Bt�tbbs Bay Resort,requested per� mission �or an addition on an exieting building at hie reeort and for the ereetion of other multiple�unit oottagee. Permie� eion was granted for the addit�nn�but withheld on the multiple units. Acting on a report that a right,�oP�Way to the lake tra8 being obstructed by R.E.Wilson,Hig.hWood Roa.d, the Council instructed the Clerk to request clearance o� the road by Mr. Wilson and and order thet no �urther obBtruction be placed there»on. Mr. Qeorge BroNn preeented blueprints of a pMo�bile Home Reeort� rvhich he deQeloped in Phoenia, Arizona and suggeeted a similar development in the Village oP Orono, Council took it undcr e.dviaement.
