Recomended that ordinance should be drawn for any operation involving
public dumps with license fee assessed and more strict control be provided.
The present operation of the so-ealled F�dden dump is deplorable and the
opera�tor� thereof snould be required to clean up t��e oresen� operation and
canf ine their activitieg to tneir own property and not encroach on the
premis�s of their nei��bors.Proposed operation o� a land-f ill dump on the
proper�y of L.V9,rvSo sher,ad�ac ent to tne Fadd en dump,would involve a def inite
understanding with the operators thereof f'rom a sanitary point and the pos-
, sibility of any fire hazard involving burnin� operations of debris.
Recomended that the erection of advertising signs on public highways in
residential area� be more religously policed.The erection of a "Pepai-Cola"
sign on # I9 sd,jacent to the La.keview Golf Course was citcd as an exaaple.
