Minutes of ineetings held on Mar.23 and Apr.I3,I959,were read and approved.

Wm.Buaton wa� present complaining of recent losa of aals on aome o� his
property in Hilloway Manor,dus to the publie nuisanc• noA preaent on the
Donald Keealing property ad�acent thereto.Council decided to have our
attorney review the situation and have the aub�ect reviewed again at our
neat meeting.
G.P.Valeriue, owner of the Summit Park reaort at eaet dnd o� Long LakE,
complained about the waahing of road ��cent to his propertg due to the
narrow part o� road,Foreman Stin�on was delegated to check the situation
and report at next raeeting.
A.�. Scherven,Jr.repreeanting the Northwe�t Tonka Liona Club,pre8ented -�
request for permiasion to hold their 9th annual Safari,at Navarre Corners, �
on June 22,23 and 24th,and approval of Council to block off Co.Road I9,
f or a distance of approximately one b lock, sub�ect to the approval of the
County Commi$eioner�.H� alao reouested permission to operate a Bingo etand
and the sale of 3.2 beer in stand oper�ted by the C1ub.On motion of 4Pood,
seconded by Bagley,approval wa$ �ranted sub�ject to approval oP County Com.
�iessrs.J.A.Bristol and C.�i.Akins reque8ted modification of pressnt buildg. code
involving demolishment of buildir� and the erection of new building in the
Langdon Park area in north half of Section 20.Their request will bE ref erea
to our Plann�ng Co:amission for their recomendation,
Richaxd �Pagman and Ivan Gonsolus were present complaining of the public _
nui+eance involved in the operation of repaire to trucka on the premi8ea of
Wm.VPear in the Long Lake Height� area ad�acent to their reaidenc�a in this
residential area.A petition will be presented by residents in that area anm
ref ered to our a.ttorney for fnrther attention.
R. D.Grant,manager of our liquor store presented request f or installation
of storage �hed necessary to house returned emptie� and permit more room
f or operation of �tore.He advi�ed that verbal bid had been �ubmitted in
the amount of � 634.00 and council asked that he secure at least one mort
bid for their furtner consideration.
Gerald Ross,Const�able,presented request f or full day-time coverage involvi�
police operation durin� �ummer month� .Council approved with the unaerstang
that Police O�Picer Barnard would be assigned to eix day�day-time service.
The installation of eulvert on the Death-Valley road wa� approved due to
present, culvert na� servin� purpose of takin� care of any situation tha�
would "ae involved in case of neavy raina therby result,in� in tne possible
washin� out of th� road.
