SUBJECT: Garage Rebuild
The property owner had a single car garage on the property that was removed after storm
damage. The slab remains. The owner wants to rebuild on the slab. He has been informed
that he needs to build the rear wall of the replacement garage at least 5' from the rear property
line and add 5' of slab in front of the existing slab.
This decision was based on discussion with Ron Moorse, City Administrator, and Lyle Oman,
Building Official on November 24, 1998.
Any changes in size, bulk, etc. will require variances to rebuild.
