� Minutes of Meeting held in the Village Hall
December 22, 1958 - 7�30 P.M.

In the absence of O.E.Johnson, Clerk, R.C. Bagley recorded
the minutes oP the meeting.
The minutes of the last regular meeting on December 8th and
the special meeting on December 13th had not been prepared and
the reading of them was, therefore, dispensed wit�.
Henry Weyhreuck was questioned by �he Council Members on his
various needs for relief assistance. He was cautioned that this
had already attained considerabZe proportions and that he �hould
� make every effort to secure employment to sustain his needs
without continual help �rom the Village.
William A4ills appeared before the Council asking final approval
of his plat for the SwanLake Addition. After reniew, approval
was granted, snbject to there being filed with the Village, a
bond in satisfactor� form and amount.
Bud xiee was granted approval to transPer to the Nanarre Inn �'
from Harbor Haven the aetivity conducted under the name of the �
Chamberlain Bounty Holdin.g �ompanp sPonsored by Post 5113 of
the V.F.Id.

� had to work in Orono and suggested that consideration be giQen

3ealed bids were opened for a new Village police car. The same
having been examined, it was moved, seconded and unanimonsly
carried that the bid submitted by Nanarre Motors, Inc. be

accepted. This particular bid specified a Chevrolet at a
net trade�in basis cost to the Village of $1,605.
John Bergstedt of Bergstedt-I�ielsen Store Equipment Company
presented a sketch based upon a self-service type layout for
equipment in the proposed Mtznicipal Liquor 3tore. He was
thanked for the presentation and told he would be advised
� later as to the Councilfs decision in this matter.
Verified acco�.nts No. 865 through 880 Here reviewed and
approved for payment.
Bob Ziegler, assisted by Cliff Pont, presented an artistis
drawing and made supplementary recommendations with respect
to f�zrnishing and equipping the pronosed Municipal Liquor
Store. They estimated that their proposal 8ould cost from
$1�,030 to $5,230, depending upon the specifie type of cooler
equipment that might be indicated in specifications. This
proposal and estimate included everythin.g but electrical
work aud a cash register. It was subsequently moved, seconded
and �nanimously carried that Ziegler furnish speeifications
for the Councilrs consideration and for the purpose of
securing bids. Ziegler agreed to flirnish specifications
without cost to the Village.
There followed a discussion by the Council oP the na.mes
suggested by John Swedberg and R.C. Bagley as to the third
panel member to deliverate on terms of a ne� Eaiployeest Contract.
There being no further business, motion to adjourn Was made,
seconded and unanimously carried.
