Dear Mr. Lund:
Enclosed please find a refund check in the amount of$950.00 for the Service Availability Charge
(SAC)payment you made for the North Long Lake/Long Lake Country Club Sewer Project.
To further explain, SAC charges were collected with building pernut fees from 1973-1986 for
unsewered new residence construction,regardless of whether sewer was available at that time(policy
of Metropolitan Waste Control Commission). Your residence was constructed in 1976 and the SAC
fee was paid at the time the building permit was issued. Therefore,you are credited with a full SAC
unit and do not have to pay any additional SAC chazge prior to issuance of a sewer connection
permit.
