Present: H.R.Ross,I�4ayor; R.C.Bagley,K.Turnham,R.I�leddermeyer,E. O.Wood, Trustees;
. G.A. Hanson,Assessor; Gerald Ross,Constable; O.E. Johnson, Clerk.
D2inutes of ineeting of Aug.I2,I957,were read and approved.
On request of County CouLmissioner Ainsworth and County Engr.Pederaon,who were
present, the following resolution was pass�d,in reference to tne Hendrickson .
Bridge embankm ent,by a vote o� f ive yeas and no nays:
" Whereas,plans for County Pro�ect No. 5?I5 showing proposed ali�nrnent,
prof iles,grades,and cross-s�ctions,to�ether with specif ications and
special prov3sions for the improvement,of State Aid Road No. SI within
the limits of the Village as a County Aid Pro�ect have be�n prepared
and presented to the Village: Noev,therefore,it is resolved; That said
plans, specifications and special pr'ovisions be in all thin�s approved. °

representin� the i::innetonYa Center o� r�r�s and Education, appeared relative
�Tillage concurrance in joining in the expens� of I:laintain� library and Art � .
Center in the old Hill School at Crystal Bay.

On motion of Turnham, 4econded by 4�lood,�ne following resolution was passed by
vote of �ic� ?E�s �:�d no nays:
" Reso�ntion relatin� to p�.rticipatin� in Rural Henn�pin Covnty Nursing Dist.
�s�hereas,pursuant to ?:iinnesot,a Statutes Sections I45.08 and I45.I2,�rovision
haG been made f or a public health nurs�.ng distric� in that portion oi
Hennepin County outside of the City of P�Zpls.and
V�Ihereas�Aursuant to such authority such a public healtn nursing district
nas been organized and has been in operat�.on for several years,and
�hereas it is deemed �nece�sary to con�inu� �he cper�=�ion of suen nursin�
distric� �.nd to provide it with �.dequate f unds for ite proper operation.
Now.therefore �e it r•esolved by the governing body o� tne Village of Orono %
that this pol�.tical sutidivision continue �o be included in the public
n�alth nursing district of rural Hennep�n County or�anized on Jan.�,I952:
tnat it par�zminate in the benefits thereoi;and �i1at it a�rees to support
on an apportion�ent basis its pro rata share of tne co�t of th� adryinist-
ration of such district prot*ided,ho���ever�that f or• the period Jan.I, I958 to
Dec.3I,I960 tnis cos� shall not eYceed in any one year � .4? per capita on
the baszs o�' the ofiicial I950 Feaeral Census.
Be if further resolved, tha� this resolution snall be deemed an agreement
to continue to p�.rticip�te in such nursing distric�i on th� basis r�ereir_-
�efore specified tiR:ith all other political subdivisions adopting si,�ilar
resolutions. �'
