�,Zinutes of ineeting held on June 24,I957,were read and approved. ;

Approval for purchase of three tires for po�.ice car vras granted on the � :::
request of Constable Ross. _
Letter of County Commissioners,dated July 3rd was read, re mosquito control. ` � �
Council approved ,joining in the expense involved on a basis not �o exceed
50 cents per capita and Chairman I��:athews will so be advised.
Letter of At�y.Newhall,da�ed July 2nd,was read re the Dudley easenent on
County Road�i.Council agreed to maintain and repair the road in ca�e of
any future damage caused by leaYage of septic tan� or drain field.
The folloc�ring Council members were ap�ointed to conmittees listed:
Road Supervision,Kenneth Turnham and Robt.Neddermeyer,
Division of Property, R. C.Ba.�ley and Geo.Hanson,Assessor, :`--` �

A dele�ation of Orono residents �F�ere presen� re the public srvimming beach
a.t Crystal Bay.yirs.P�.B.I�::itchell agreed to donate tne sum of �3000.00 towards
the expense necessary in case condemnation procedin�s are necessary to acquire
nroperty rights on the lake front on �mitn Bay.Furtner action will be nandled�- -

of operation of' late Saturday ni�nt shows.Previous commitments on f ilm -
contracts were explained by nim and the Council then a�reed to permit the
showing of l�te pictures �:litn a closin� de�.3line of not later than 3:00 AI��.

Af ter furtner consideration of the Crystal Bay SvJimning �each proalem, tne
Council decided to �.sk f or a survey,by tne County Surveyor,of County Roads
I5 and 5I at intersection thereof,for pur-joose of furtner in.iormation.
Clerk instructed to so arrange.
