Dear Mr. Brockman:
It has come to the attention of this department that you have recently placed a shed on
your property at the above referenced address. This letter is to notify you that The City of Orono
requires a building permit for sheds.
The shed is in violation of hardcover and setback ordinances. You may be able to find a
location that meets setbacks but without removing some hardcover you will not be able to meet
hardcover regulations. Therefore The City must require removal of the shed from the property.
A deadline of February 17, 2003 has been established. If this deadline is not met The City will
initiate legal action. Please feel free to contact me at my office if you have questions.
