On motion of ts�gley and approvea� the postin� of the �'erndale-North 13each
road t'or "T�do P�rk_in�," �Rras ordered to avoid tr�.i'�'ic hazard during the winter
f i�tiin� season.
Ttie next Council session due on Dec�mber 24th was advanced to Thursday�
Dec�mber 20th, to �void ineetin�; on Christmas eve.
i��ir .I_,. �T. 1lelson, Exrc . Secy. of the state Liquor Control Coitimiesion met with the
Co'�.incil f'or tne pizrpose of explaining somc of' the ramifications �ertaining
to the pre9ent law involving municipal and priva.te operation of "On a.nd Off"
1 in��or �tores .
On motion Council decided to ask the Village Atty. to interview rdIrs.T.�urphy
concerning the po�sibility oi' the Villa�;e purchasing her present property
f'or � �ublic pa.rk are� .
TRr� rren Le�1ere met with the Council rec�uestin�; approval to allvw a trailer
to remain on his property t'or an ind�f�inite period pending the erection of
� t�uilc�in� on the prescnt location.
On inotion hy ��.red.derrneyer, seconded by Wooc�.,Clerk wa.9 instructed to notify
hiin tli�t trailer ue removed on or bet'ore December ;SIet� I956� to avoid any
conf�lict oi the present orc7ina.nce.
�,ot.zncil decided that the proposed resolution o1' the County Pa.rk Committee
of trie Lea�ue oi Hennepin '1'owns a.nd Municipal.ities could not be approved
until such tim� a.s the present la�v wa.s �mend�d so �s to activate a park
district t'or Hennepin County.
On motion, second.ed and a.pproved� tlerif'ied Accounts Nos. 64;� through 67'T were
approv��� for clear�nce of current obli�ations .
