Mihutes of ineeting held in the Village Hall on November I2th, I956,7i30 PM.

Minutes of ineetin� held on October 22� :�956,were approved.
A report from the County Park Committee was discuseed byCouncil .
M oved by Turnham, seconded by Bagley, that we aecure further information Prom
Secry.Neleon of' the Hennepin County League of Towns & bhun. as to the present
status and hie recomendation before f'urther action by Council.Motion approved
Petition of Mrs.Maud A. Johnson and othere, relative vacation oP a portion
of Portland Place� Sega F�ill Revised�was discuseed.One of co-signere of this
petition had agreed to an eaeement for George Heathcock f'or aceesa to his
p roperty, but so f'ar this had not bcen taken care of.Until thie ie done no
f'urther action will be taken by Council �nd Atty.Grathwol,repreaenting
M re .Johnson,will be $o notit'ied.

' Council approved the purchase of' I5 tons of' rock salt for sanding purposes
�'"� at a price of �2I . 75 per ton,delivered at Crystal l�ay, baeee,� on the lowest
quotation submitted by dealera involved.
E�� On motion of' Neddermeyer, seconded by Tizrnham� the. �,rantin� of� subdiviaion
of property of Cleg��, W.Maxwell locatcd on West Arm on County Road 43,
wa� �.pproved.
Meesrs.Neleon and Ol�on, resident9 of Livingston Ave.at Nava.rre,were present
complaining of vandaliam by minors and reQue$ted the installation of a
9treet light in th�t locality and the possibility of increased police
supervision. The in�tallation of' a street light was taken under advi�ement
and Constable Ro9s will confe�with Deputy Sheriffs f'or increaee� policing
eupervision.
Truetee Bagley reported that a public meeting haa been called to conv�n�
at the Orono High Sehool at 8200 �M on November 28th by the Orono Taxpayere
Assn. The Villa�e council will be invited to attend and participate in the
diecu9sion involved. "
The appointment of a village attorney, to repl�ce John Pillabury�was diecusaed
e.nd Council agreed to invite Norman Newhall to attend our next meeting for
a conf'erence before any def'inite appointment is made.
0 n motion, seconded a.nd approved,Verified Accts.Nos . 556 thro 6�;0 were paesed
f'or clearance of current bills .
There being no further business to come bef'ore the meeting,upon motion duly
