nRinutes of ineeting held on August I35h, I956 were approve�.
Lyle Tulson,representing the Motor Divieion of Richards AQarine at Orono,
appeared requesting approval of the erection of a temporary banner across
County Road I5 at Orono.He stated that he had eecured the a.pprova.l of the
C ounty Commissioners and on motion of B�gley� seconded by Turnham, the Council �
a�reed to registcr no ob,jection thereto. !

The Council was advised of the delivery of the new truck purchaeed through
the Pioneer GP�4C Co. ,A�inn�apolis,and after inspection thereof it was moved
and seconded that their bill be approved for payment. '�
Con�tables Roes and Taylor reported on the current activitiee of the Conatable� ',
�^nd it �vas auggested that Justice of Peace,Rand meet with the Council at our
ne�t meeting on September IOth. I

The Council wa� adviaed of the propoeed iesuance of notice outlining the
boundaries of the new votin� precinet at Stubbs Bay for the general election
on November 6th and continuing theraf ter, at a cost of 9�30.00 for I000 copies '
thereof, �aid circulars to b� distributed to the voters interested at the ��
primary electlon on September IIth.Clr.rk instructed to arrange accordingly.
GV�lter Sa.ger and othere appear�d requesting Council approval of the dumping
of fill on Lakeside Road on the public right-of-way to the lake.
Sub,�ect to the dumping of fill as neAr the center of road a.s possible,no
ob,�ection thereto was registered by Counci.l members. �
Graydon McCulley and Harold Diesen appeared requesting the blacktopping oP �
roa.d at the Village limita bordering on PJiedina and Independence Townships. �
As portions of this road are also within the ,jurisdiction of these two j
town�hips they agreed to interview their respective Councils and report later ;
a.s to what could be accomplished by them. �
�farry �Die appeared with referenceto securing a building permit on property
purchased from Edward Bock at Orono.It was su�gested tha.t he have Atty.Plant ;

The blacktopping of Bohns Point was approved and Foreman Stineon inetructed j
t,o proce�d e.ccordingly. . �

On motion of Neddermeyer, seconded by Bagley,verified accounts 392 through 42I i
were unanimously approved. I
