C ounty Commissionere Ainsworth and Chrieteneen and County Highway Engineer `a;�� ;i�'
Pedereon were present to outline proposed ad�juatment of C�unty Road No.7 3} ';�'
at Bracketts Point to eliminate hairpin turn and thereby reduce the traff ia �..,� ,;°t
hazard at that point.A committee of aff'ected property owners including '
repreeentativee of the Orono Taxpayere Aaen.presented oppoaing argumente � ' F
requeating that Co.Road No.7 be extended from Orono Cornere to the Arcola '�Y ''t
Bridge and that any County funde a.11ocated to change in road at Brackette �,
Point be applied to the exteneion of No.7 from Orono Cornere to the Arcola ��'
B ridge.The County Com. suggested that an eff'ort be made to eecure eaeemente r
f rom ownere of property aff'ected by this change and be presented to the .
County Com.for their further consideration as this change would involve an ;F`
expenditure o� at least �500,000 and would have to be held in abeyance f or �
eeveral yeare ao ae to allocate funde annually for raising the funds required. � �r
By resolution the Village Council decided that the ad�ustment of County Road r�
No.7 at Rrackette Point would be adviaeable at the present time and ths�t the '�
County Engr.and County Com.beaeo advised.

Willmar Minnesota was preeent concerning the rcneAal of G.N.Ry Bridgee Nos.
2'7.8 an�d 28.3, �oca�ted weat of Long Lake.�Ie was advieed that the Council wer•
awaiting advise as to the poe�ibility of the railroad furni$hing the �ill
neceaeary for providing approachea,�ve having �o adviaed them on Dea.29,I955.
Moved a.nd seconded that the Aaseaeor,Treaeurer and Clerk be reappointed f or
tne current year at the same ealary and allowancea as previously in efi'ect.
Moved and aeaonded that Verit'ied Accts.Noe.I thro 22 be approved to meet `
current bills.Motion Approved.
