CITY OF ORONO
The seccnd reconvened meeting of the 1.9R�i Orono Board of Review was called to order
by Maycr Butl.er , at 7 : (��7 P.M. , June . 2� , 1983 . Councilmembers present were :
Adams , Frahm and Hammere]. . Also present were Deputy City Clerk Hallin and
Frederic Riebe.l .
The Bcard asked for the report from the County Assessor ' s staff regarding Mr .
Riebel ' s property. Property I .D. 32.-118-23 13 �7��4 . Hallin reported that
the property has a total of 1Q acres , 4 . 5 acres in the front are dry and wcoded , 5 . 5
acres in the rear are wetlands . This is in the 2 acre zoning district with 2�70
f_oot frontage required . Al Olson , City Planner , had stated that it appears that
the dry land is sufficient to have 7_ building sites , but soil tests would be
required . If the propertywere divided Riebel would have 2�Jf3 foot frantage plus 2
acres , the remaining 130 foot frcntage and 8 acres would make up the second
buildinq site . Olson stated divisions similar to this have been apprcved in the
past . The current 1983 Market Value is :
$47 , ��(3 land
19 , �8� buildings
56 , G1��J Total
After much discussion and comparing neighboring land valuesFrahm made themotion
and Hammerel seconded to lower the land value from 547 , ��0 to $4� , 5�0 . The
building value shall stay at S19 , Q0�1 . Making the total 1983 Market value
$59 , 5C�� . Motion , Ayes ( 4) , Nays (Q) .
Mction by Ad�ms seconded by Hammerel to adjourn the 1983 Bcard of Review at 7 : 25
