Joint meeting of the Orono Council & Planning Commission, December 28 , 1982
CANCELLED
At 9 : 00 A. M. , December 28 , 1982 , City Administrator Benson
telephoned City Clerk Strom to inform her that due to the
over-night blizzard, the scheduled meeting for that evening
was cancelled and rescheduled for Thursday, December 30 ,
1982 at 7 : 30 P.M. at the City Council Chambers.
City Administrator Benson requested City Clerk Strom to
notify by telephone the Planning Commission members, City
Planner Olson, Zoning Administrator Mabusth, City Attorney
Malkerson, the Official City Newspaper, and WCCO Radio to
announce on radio of the cancellation and rescheduling of
the meeting. By 10 :00 A. M. , all persons mentioned above
were notified. City Planner Olson also notified Richard
Hassel, attorneyfor the Forest Arms area matter, that was
also on tne agenaa for that meeting.
Public Works Coordinator Gerhardson posted notices on the
two doors at the Administration Building and a notice on
the City Council Chambers door.
City Administrator Benson was at the City Council Chambers
at 7 : 30 P.M. to inform any persons appearing that the
meeting was rescheduled for Thursday, December 30 , 1982 at
7 : 30 P.M.
On December 29 , 1982, City Planner Olson, Deputy Clerk
Woytcke, and City Clerk Strom notified by telephone all
persons on the mailing list for the proposed ordinance for
Lake Minnetonka Islands zoning that had been scheduled as
a continued public hearing for the December 28 , 1982 Council
Meeting, that the continued public hearing would be held
on Thursday, December 30 , 1982 at 7 : 30 P.M. The attached
three-page mailing list was used to notify property owners
of the Lake Minnetonka Islands of the rescheduled meeting.
It is noted at each owners name , address and telephone
number whether or not they were contacted.
On December 29, 1982, notices were posted at the City
Administration Building, City Council Chambers, Crystal
Bay Post Office, Long Lake Post Office, and Navarre Post
Office informing the public of the rescheduled public
hearing to be held on Dec:e.�nber 30 , 1982 at 7 : 30 P.M. at
the City Council Chambers, 1375 Brown Road South.

NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that the rescheduled Public
Hearing for the Orono City Council and the Orono Planning
Commission will be held on Thursday, December 30, 1982 at
7:30 P.M. at the City Council Chambers, 1275 Brown Road South,
due to the cancellation of the December 28, 1982 meeting because
of the blizzard, to consider the continued public hearing for
the proposed ordinance for the Lake Minnetonka Islands for zoning
under the jurisdiction of the City of Orono.
