The Orono Council met on the above date with the following members present : Mayor Van Nest , Council- members Adams , Butler , Frahm & Hurr, Also present : City Attorney Malkerson, City Planner 01son, Zoning Administrator Mabusth, Public Works Coordinator Gerhardson , City Engineer Cook, John Hammerel Planning Commission Rearesentative and City Deputy Clerk Woytcke . LAKE MINNETONKA ISLAND ORDINANCE PUBLIC HEARING �pproximately 8 people were in attendance regarding the Island Ordir.ance . Mayor Van Nest asked staff if another letter should be sent out to the people and give them another chance to respond to this ordinance . Mayor Van Nest moved, Councilmember Hurr seconded, to continue tY+is Public Hearing to the December 13 , 1982 Council Meeting and if at this time no action is taken there wi11 be a special meeting before December 31 , 1982 . Councilmember Hurr wanted it stated in the record that she wou7.d not like to see PRD ' s on the Island, �ouncil decided to leave the PRD ` s in and discuss taking it out when this matter is brought back to Council . Mayor Van Nest reviewed with the council the meeting of November 16 , 1982 with the PCA staff. � Mayor Van Nest reminded the council of the Lake Minnetonka Task Force Meeting to be held at the Twin City Federal Building in Excelsior on December 14 , 1982. A meeting of the Orono Council wi11 be November 30 , 1982 at 7: 30 P.M, to disciss appointment to the Planning Commission, CABLE TV REPORT Councilmember Butler reported that she was not present at the last Cable T.V, meeting. The meeting set for November 23 , 1982 would be to elect officers , to discuss meeting timetables and a brief introductory session regardin� cable television. Mary has been encouraged to run for chairman of the Lake Minnetonka Cable Communications Commission but she at this point didn ' t feel she cared to. RESOLUTION ��1410 PARTICIPATION IN THE LAKE MTKA. CASHIN MATTER Councilmember Butler moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded , to apnrove City Attorney ' s letter to Mr . Edward Cashin dated Nove�ber 22 , 1982 and if M�. Cashin agreed to the terms of the letter the council would then vote to amend the Resolution ��1226 passed in 1980 . Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . FOREST ARMS MATTER Council discussed this matter openly it was decided that executive session was not necessary. Mr . James Grabek had wanted it noted for the record that he did not approve of executive session on the Forest Arms matt�r . It was decided that the purchase agreement would be redrafted and presented back to Mr . Dick Hassel and City Attorney Malkerson will bring it back to the next council meeting. EASEMENT 82-1&82-2 City Attorney Malkerson stated that we have two easements that we have not been able to receive yet . The were Ronnie Cleaners property owned by Robert Harding and Schommer.
