The 1981 Board of Review was called to or�er by Acting

Mr. Curtis felt tn` 19Q1 �.�alue was too 'r�iah for an �1r.bu� '_�--
able lot. Council suqgested r�e combine it with his hor�.e-
stead property next door, �lr. Curtis stated he didn ' t
care to do that as he is considerinq selliny the �roperty
to a neighbor for lake access . Mr. Curtis has talked with
Mr. Hilk about�the value and Hilk has inspected the pronertl�
but had not had time to review information Curtis had
sent to him regardinq the City' s policy on wetlands.
Motion by Paurus seconded by Hurr to defer a decision
until the reconvened meeting of the Board of June 24 , 1981 ,
after the Assessor has completelv reviewed all the information.
P4otion carried. The Council told Curtis the City staff
should notify the Council of the status of this lot so
it is on record.

back up increases given to lakeshore properties, r2orlk
and the Council assured him the values were correct.

Mr. �otzenroth stated he had reauested a review bv the
Cou::tv and an appraiser had been to his home on Monday,
but he had not received anv results of the review. PZonk
checked his records and showed him a copv of �� letter
dated �Tune 11 with the results o� the review. There had
been a change , $146 , 4�0 had been reduced to $141 , 400 .
tiir. rionk told him if he was not satisified wit'� the results
he could appeal to the County Board. Paurus s�id he felt
the land was ��aluecz at fair market value ar.d apnroxima�ely
57 , 000 value on the structure , for a liveahlt -:��ar around
building was fair. Metion by Paurus seconded b�• Fiurr to
accent the revised $141, 400 value placed on t!�e nropert��.

limitations and suggested they att�nd the budqet hearings.

Fiomestead property, new house , house is on both lots.
Mr. Kingman felt the land values were too high for the
lakeshore. The lots are low, unstable and mushy with a
pond to the rear. Many trees have died or are dying.
The driveway is shared with a neighbor by an easement.
Before the house was built 42 pilings were put into place
at a depth of 55 feet. tir. Hilk gave Pdr. Kingman a lot
combination form to sign. Paurus sair3 the lakeshore is
- good even though the lot does have problems. Mr. Monk
suggested this be r�viewed. Motian by Paurus secondPd
by Butler to have the Assessor review this nroperty.

Mr. rlonk presented the following names to the Board, these
people were unable to attend the meeting tonight but requested
by letter, a review of their property.

as requested by the Ietters presented bv the Count�� �ssessor.
Motion carried.
